Comment Policy

We want The Belle and The Bookworm to be a safe and friendly space to talk about books and writing. In order to maintain this we are instituting the following comment policy. (This policy also applies to trackbacks.)

Debate is welcome, but it must be kept civil. If we feel that your comment is abusive, libelous, unlawful, threatening, offensive, profane, combative, spammy, or objectionable; we reserve the right to delete it. If you continue to leave similar comments, we reserve the right to ban you from visiting our website.

You are responsible for your comments. By commenting on this website you agree to absolve us of any and all liability for what you write.

You grant us license to post your comments. This license is worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and royalty-free. We are allowed to publish, reproduce, store, use, transmit, display, and distribute your comments in any format. This includes our blog and any social media outlets we choose to use.

Use of the comments section is subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

This policy is effective as of August 4, 2017.
